Founded Antidote Computer Services in 1997:  Antidote Computer Services provides application development services including but not limited to website development, database development; desktop computer support services, Windows’ server support services, server software support including Exchange and customers’ proprietary industry specific software, LAN and WAN network support services, plus web hosting, email hosting, and database hosting services.  Antidote has designed, developed, and maintained accounting software, point-of-sale software, order tracking software, customer acquisition software, many websites, and more for various customers since its inception.

Responsible for providing “IT department for hire” services for small and medium-sized businesses

10/95 To 4/98, Development Team Lead, SalesKit Software (merged with Deltek 3/98)

Responsible for programming and team lead duties for the Hostware product, and the installation software used to install SalesKit’s products on customers’ computers.  Hostware consists of three distinct code modules, Import, Export, and an Import Preprocessor. Programming tasks for HostWare were accomplished using Microsoft Visual C++ 1.52, with Microsoft ODBC 2.1 and ODBC 3.0 accessing Microsoft SQL Server versions 4.21a and 6.5.  Programming tasks for the installation software were accomplished using Microsoft Visual C++ 1.52 and InstallShield 3.0.

Spearheaded the move to add support for Oracle versions 7.3 and 8.0 to the SalesKit Software product line.  Effort began in 11/96 with the installation and configuration of the first Oracle database at SalesKit Software.

Also responsible for performing database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning of the Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 RDBMS and the Oracle 7.3 RDBMS, hosted on Windows NT.

Responsible for writing all of the Hostware documentation, including a user manual for the end-user.

8/90 to 10/95, Software Engineer, Cutler / Williams, Inc. (merged with Compsys 1995)

Responsibilities at Cutler / Williams were to provide software engineering services to client companies and projects.  Worked on 6 separate projects. On all projects, served as a member of a team responsible for the development effort.

for SalesKit Software from 2/95 to 10/95; Developed a database "data integrity aware" application for importing customers’ legacy data into the SalesKit proprietary database. Solely responsible for the development of the HostWare Import product, and responsible for the design and final quality of the HostWare Administrator, the HostWare Preprocessor, and the HostWare Export applications. The HostWare suite of applications are being developed in Microsoft Visual C++ 1.52, ODBC 2.1, db-library, Microsoft SQL Server 4.21a, and Microsoft Access 2.0 in an object oriented approach. The development environment is Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11 running on a Dell XPS Pentium 90 PC. The application must also run in the Microsoft Windows NT Server 3.51 and 4.0 environment.

for Union Pacific Technologies (UPT) from 1/95 to 2/95; Worked with Cutler/Williams account managers and UPT personnel to develop a project proposal for Norfolk Southern railroad.

for Busch Entertainment (BEC) from 5/94 to 1/95; Developed a Revenue Balancing application for the Cash Control personnel at Sea World of California and Busch Gardens, Tampa. Application consisted of 11 subsystems. Solely responsible for 5 subsystems comprising 51 windows. The development environment was Microsoft Windows 3.1 running on a Compaq 486DX2 50MHz PC, C with ODBC access to Sybase, ProtoGen+, C (primary language), Visual Basic 3.0 with db-library access to Sybase. Sybase was hosted on an NLM platform.

for Anheuser Busch from 4/93 to 5/94; Developed Time and Expense Reporting system for the Corporate Engineering department. Solely responsible for the Expense Reporting subsystem and several productivity enhancement tools and partially responsible for development of an application to handle the administrative tasks of the Time and Expense Reporting application. The development environment was Microsoft Windows 3.1 running on a Gateway 486DX2 66MHz PC, ObjectView 2.0, and Microsoft SQL Server.

for UNOCAL from 2/92 to 4/93; Developed a data-driven Oil and Utility Accounting System (OUAS) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. Primarily responsible for 1) providing Sybase SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and db-library expertise to the development staff; 2) development of stored procedures, triggers, views, and indices; 3) development of a standard set of stored procedures for database loading and unloading of refinery instrumentation data; 4) analysis of refinery data; 5) data modeling the refineries and their business rules into the database; 6) development of productivity enhancing utilities. The development environment consisted of Microsoft Windows 3.1 running on Compaq 386DX 25MHz PCs. Visual Basic 1.0 and 2.0, db-library calls for Sybase access, Sybase SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Unix hosted on an HP-9000 server, Lotus for Windows, Quattro Pro, WordPerfect 5.1, ccMail, awk, LAN Workplace, and Walker-Richer-Quinn Reflections.

for Anheuser Busch from 1/92 to 2/92; Developed an Import utility to import data into the Engineering Service Request system (ESR) from Microsoft Excel. Application developed using Microsoft Windows 3.0, DDE, ObjectView 1.0 and Microsoft Excel.

for Contel (merged with GTE in 1991) from 8/90 to 1/92; Developed the Outside Plant System, an interactive, multi-user, graphics-based telecommunications network facilities design / mapping and engineering records management system. Application developed in C, and Fortran, using Sybase SQL Server in a VAX / VMS environment.

1/83 to 8/90, Software Engineer, McDonnell Douglas Corporation (merged with Boeing in 1997)

as a Programmer / Analyst from 2/90 to 8/90; Member of development team developing a Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tool. Application was developed using Ada, PRO*Ada, SQL*Plus, SQL*Report, SQL*Forms, Oracle, and Interleaf on a VAX / VMS system.

as a Programmer / Analyst from 2/87 to 1/90; Developed software tools with Ada to aid software development activities for military aircraft and served as on-site technical advisor for Oracle Version 5.0 and related software on Vax with VMS and IBM PS/2 with PC-DOS 3.3 and Microsoft Windows 3.0 platforms

as a Programmer from 1/83 to 1/87; Maintained software and supported an ATLAS compiler. Developed software tools as necessary to aid software development. Work was performed in Fortran on a Harris H-100 computer running the Vulcan 3.0 operating system.
